The company has grown steadily over the years, especially since 1995, thanks to the inclusion in the company of the sons Denis and Michele Berti, specializing in cereals standard processing (such as the drying process) and in the design of innovative processes for treating cereals such as toasting (of which Berti Group is a precursor in the market), flaking and cereals pressing.
Today Berti Group S.p.A. participates in the companies Sprea Agricoltura S.r.l., Italian Feed Factory S.r.l., Espana Feed Factory S.L., Hub Service S.r.l., Toninello S.p.A., DSC Carpenteria and Agriveneto S.p.A., obtaining from these significant competitive advantages and important contributions to its business model in the activities of:
• Cereal processing
• Sale of cereals
• Transportation
• Cereals storage
• Design of machinery for processing cereals
• Field assistance service to produce cereals (corn, soy, barley, wheat).
In recent years, the company has established important relationships and collaborations with operators in the reference area in order to expand its collection basin for agricultural products, in particular cereals.
The Group currently works with over twenty affiliated collection centers, located in Northern Italy, in the provinces of Verona, Padua, Vicenza, Rovigo and Ferrara, which have made it possible to significantly increase purchases of local products in the countryside and, consequently, to increase the volumes of processed and marketed product.
